I can't quite understand what it is you're trying to say. If you're in the USA and you have an EVGA laptop that is not working properly please contact EVGA tech support.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

I don’t think I have seen any recent laptops with an hdd activity light. It’s archaic these days.

My Razer laptop is a gaming laptop and it has no HDD LED. My Sager laptop before it was also a gaming laptop and it didn't have a HDD LED either. HDD activity LEDs are old school and annoying (in my opinion).

I don't know why they stripped the Optimus support from the EVGA laptops. Perhaps the slightly increased frame buffer latency and slightly reduced NVIDIA performance, compatibility, and driver complexity wasn't worth the moderate 2D power savings in EVGA's eyes. It's not like NVIDIA's current GPUs use much power in 2D applications. I think Optimus had a bit more benefit back when it was designed and I think that its benefit is declining fast as the GPUs use less and less power in 2D mode with each passing architecture. Under NVIDIA 3D load conditions, the total system power is actually a bit higher with Optimus than if it was NVIDIA alone since the NVIDIA Optimus pipes into the Intel graphics which then of course has to always be "running" as a little extra overhead. So, minimal 2D power savings with additional 3D power cosumption may have made it not worth it. Who knows. All you can do is look at numbers, comparisons, and opinions.
