I got an EVGA 1080ti FE a few months ago and thinking about getting a water block.
Is there any difference between these two in terms of cooling performance?
The EVGA one cost $40 at 169.99 and the EK one cost 129.99.
For the EK one, you can pay an additional 34.99 to get a backplate.
What is the purpose of the backplate? Does the EVGA come with the backplate or my original FE already the backplate?
If so, is the FE backplate compatible with EVGA water block?

Thanks for the help :)

Your backplate will work just fine with either of the blocks, no reason to purchase another. The backplate adds extra support for the pcb to help keep it straight.
