I have been looking for an online tutorial on how to use the EVGA OC Scanner. I do have an idea but would rather have it explained to me. What to look for and what settings to implement etc. So you scan for ur best OC settings in OC Scanner and implement it using EVGA Precision. Thanks

You use the OC Scanner to check for artifacting AFTER you overclock using your overclocking too of choice. It doesn't scan for your best overclock for you (I don't think) As for settings, you can choose whatever you wish, as long as vsync is turned off you're going to heat the card up. You want to put as much load on your cards as you can though, so I turn up the AA and such.

I just installed the OC Scanner. And, every time I try to run the Benchmark or the Stress Test it will show that the OC scanner is initializing, then the program stops responding. Not sure what's up. System specs are in my siggy.. thanks ahead of time for any help into this problem.

That's a Youtube video put out by EVGA that shows you how to use the various utilities. I realise this is an old thread, but it came up in my search when I had a similar question, so I figured it might help someone else. (It won't let me post a URL. Put the following in your address bar after youtube.com/) watch?v=f8_QhxlTrtA
