Hello everyone,  I am just curious which is a better card out of the 980ti ACX 2.0 (06G-P4-4991-KR) and the 980ti SC (06G-P4-4992-KR)?  Sorry for the dry and to the point question.

    Here is a comparison chart
    https://www.evga.com/articles/00934/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-980-Ti/

The xxx4991 has ACX 2.0+ two fan set up, better air cooling, need good airflow in the case.

The xxx4992 has a single fan set up, easier to find a water cooling solution maybe...Little more fan noise, blows the hot air out of the case
Good for small builds with poorer air flow.

Both have one bios and 6+2 phase power.

Thanks for that comparison, so according to that EVGA list the 980ti ACX 2.0, the card I sent in, as a  better performer than the 980ti SC.

I am curious as to why a 980TI SC with a reference blower was sent to me as an RMA when I sent in a 980ti ACX 2.0 card according to EVGAs RMA Warranty policy a card of equal or greater performance will be  sent in return but by  EVGA's comparison chart, I sent in a card and received a card of lesser performance.

I would say both those cards are of equal quality. Both cards are at the bottom of the charts.
I doubt one would score any better than the other at stock settings.
The xxx91 may go a little higher overclock, but that is not a given. Every CPU and GPU are different. Silicon lottery and all.
Myself, i like the blower cards, I either have them in a small case or buy a bracket and put a H110 all in one water cooler on them.
But that is just me, you can call EVGA CS and see why they sent it, it maybe all they have and figure a 980Ti for a 980Ti.
