Thanks so if I connect this to my motherboard the front panel USB 3.0 will work ? The reason I am asking is because I did that and it is not working :( I have a ASUS ROG Maximus IX Formula LGA1151 DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 Z270 ATX Motherboard.

Yeah, untill it's seated..Never used that kind though, only the ones along the bottom of the board..There may be an option you need to change in the BIOS to enable that connector, not sure.

bob16314 No problemo..If you can't get it working, post back, and say what PC case you have..Just on my way out the door right now though.
Well good news I got it working strangely enough. All I did was unplug it and plug it back in I did nothing different. Weird. I did check in BIOS and front USB was already enabled I didn't even save my changes in BIOS.

Just make sure you load your usb drivers from your motherboard manufacturer. That is the only other thing I can think of, because the port may run slower if the drivers are not up to date. :-)
