SC17 AC-8260 wireless adapter -- Wifi Option disappeared from Windows Settings

Wifi adapter was present and had no issues in Device Manager.  Troubleshooting said problem was with the driver for the AC-8260 adapter.  EVGA service center was not helpful.  Turns out the Service needed to be restarted.  Found the solution here:
