Upgraded from a SC 1070(with thermal pads added and new bios) to the 1080 Ti SC2 card, love it works great. Only thing thats different is the fans, the asynchronous fans. I have both set to auto curve and the aggressive cure, also have them synced but according to Xoc the pwr fan never spins maybe 10% faster than the normal speed on any profile. Ive noticed my gpu going to 80C a few times with the fan going upwards of 95% + speed. While the power fan is not spinning much faster than the 40% set by the aggressive fan curve. I manually set both to 80% or so and it cools much better with both the same speed. Is there a bug in Xoc that causing both fans not syncing even though the little chain is linked together on the UI? I was wanting to water cool with EKWB new kit but the SC2 is not supported. Thanks all.

Edit, Or would put the SC2 hybird kit on it if it were to come out.

That is what I did and it is out. EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC HYBRID Waterblock Cooler, Cooling, 400-HY-5598-B1
It Was In Stock for 2 Weeks, Now it is not in stock but I did get my two. More than worth the cost.

Will that kit work on the SC2 card? EKWB website says a difference between the SC black and the SC2 card.

Also is the SC2 card a reference board? I was looking at getting the EKWB fluid gaming (new aluminum one with the gpu block but requires it to be a reference board) Thanks.

NEVER USE Aluminum in a Water Loop that Fluid will flow through.

The new kit from EKWB is all aluminum, rad and blocks. Even the fittings are aluminum. I am either going to go with the Hybrid kit, the EKWB Fluid Gaming kit or try to get another card that has a block and get a EKWB extreme kit.

EKWB has a new kit out, look at the Fluid Gaming kit, comes in a 120 rad cpu only, a 240 rad cpu only and a cpu and gpu 240 rad loop. All the water blocks and rad is aluminum. Jaystwocents done a video on that. Im thinking about just getting the Hybird kit since it supports the SC2 card. Unless i sell to get a Kingpin if it performs great vs my overclock currently (2088 but goes to 2025 after it warms up, memory is plus 500 also)
