Hi Guys,

I just finished setting up my G2 750 PSU and seem to be having an issue with the SATA power ports. If I plug a SATA cable into the port on the PSU closest to the PERIF port, the PSU powers up for half a second and then shuts down, i cant get it to power up again until i have switched it off and then back on, but it still will only power for half a second. If I shift the SATA cable to the port furthest from the PERIF port then the system starts as normal. Do I have a faulty PSU?

Case fans are plugged into the PERIF port - Antec 900 case with 1x 200mm and 3 standard case fans
SATA port has 2x HDD and 1x SSD plugged in

Thanks

I would contact EVGA support, you may have a bad PSU.

really sounds like a faulty PSU
now that i think. i should test all ports on mine..
thanks, i didn't know some ports could cause issues... i thought they would end up at the same place inside
