installing new hydro coler?

Install new evga  HYBRID Waterblock Cooler, Cooling, 400-HY-5388-B1 on a 1080ti black card should i take of the Thermal Compund that is on the new cooler and put on mx-4 Thermal Compund will it make any different?

    Because iam curious, i say try both and report back with results :) But i use mx-4 on everything :)

    It may change what the temp will be by 1 or 2 degrees.. If you do remove the stock paste, make sure the mx4 sufficiently covers the entire gpu core. If spots are missed, you will have issues. The pea size method is typically insufficient for covering the entire core as needed.

    I was going to remove the OG TIM but decided not to and it works perfectly fine. The TIM they come with seem to work just fine.

    was going to use the x method that seems to work best without  air bubbles.
