I know Evga has the best customer service. I want to purchase Evga GTX 1080 TI through Bestbuy. My question is...IF my GTX 1080TI DOA or die before warranty expires. Can I RMA through Evga website easily since I purchase it through BestBuy?

Hopefully Mod can help me answer it.

P.S. I have never spent more than 600$ on a graphic card. I'm still using GTX 680. If I purchase GTX 1080 TI, I want it to last several years. I hope that purchase through BestBuy won't cause any problems for RMA. I don't RMA stuff unless if it's DOA, defects, or die before warranty expires.

Best Buy is an authorized reseller for EVGA. I don't see why you would have any issues at all with an RMA.

@HeavyHemi, thanks for your answer. I am a bit worried since 820$ is a lot of money for me, so I was hoping someone here can assure me that I can RMA here.

I got my first 980 TI Classified from Newegg.  Not only did I get the promotional rebate from EVGA for it, EVGA RMA'd my card with a full replacement a year later due to issues I was having.

Yes, buy the card from Best Buy, then go to EVGA website and register the card.
    https://www.evga.com/support/register.asp
After you register the card upload the receipt to EVGA.
    https://secure.evga.com/S.../ChoosePartNumber.aspx
That is if you have a scanner, unless Bestbuy will email you a copy, buy online and pick up in store....

Even if you bought the card from me, EVGA has a guest RMA service, used cards are covered for 3 years from the time it left EVGA.
So if you sell it in 2 years, the person who bought it is covered for near a year.
    https://www.evga.com/support/guestregister.asp

So, what are you waiting for? Go ge it and have some fun with it.

Personally say buy it from NewEgg so you dont have to pay tax (Depending on the state)

Any purchase from an authorized retailer (basically any first sell purchase.) would qualify you for all the benefits of being an original EVGA product owner. Best Buy is an authorize retailer; please follow the advice above regarding registration and uploading your invoice to facilitate faster processing for any program you'd like to take advantage of. (Such as Step-Up or Extended Warranty.)

I listened to you. I just purchased it through Newegg. I still need to pay tax since I'm living in California, but that's fine.

Thank You. Will do. I can't wait for my Evga Gtx 1080 TI SC2 to arrive this Friday. :)
