Figured as much. No other real reason to have it. Don't get why they still have u.2 ports though, there are like 4 drives on the market and they are not cheap

Right, i think the intel drives even comes with the m.2 to u.2 convertor. Either way i doubt its a port that will ever be widely used, like sata express.
