I preordered the original FTW3 the second it went live, but upgraded to Elite FTW3?  Been waiting ages just for a color shroud.  Why it's taking ages for just some color is beyond me?
 
Been thinking of just cancelling and wait for Volta.  
 
I'm in the UK and loads of customs 1080Ti's everywhere now.  Tons of Asus Strix OC 1080Ti in stock here.  Is it worth waiting for?  Hearing some having issues with FTW3 fans and even installing card has been a hassle?

    I think the earliest shipping date for EU is May 29th, so we will have to wait a little bit more.

    more like 10 months, I would say February 2018. 
     
    and I dont think elite cooler is worth it. depends on the color of your theme.

    This will be my 1st new video card in 6+ years. I too pre-ordered on the 1st morning, but decided on changing to an elite version to go with a black and white build.
    This may sound rather strange, but the excitement has kind of worn off and I'm more or less just waiting at this point. It's already been 45 days and I still have 10 more days to go before even the estimated shipping date, so... idk, when it comes in and I finally get the new system built I'm sure my enthusiasm will rise to a fever pitch.

    If you're in the USA the 22nd will be your shipping date, but I'm in the UK and I hear it's the 29th so I won't even see my card until June. I'm on the fence atm on whether to cancel or not.

    Yes, I'm in the US.
    You could always get a 'standard' (the term Jacob used) FTW3 and then paint the shroud (use plasti dip if you think you might ever need to RMA it).
