i recently bought a evga 650 p2 power supply. i played games and had eco mode on and the fan never turned on once. i felt he back of the psu and felt heat but the heat was not blowing out. idk if what wears your psu more over time, turning eco mode on and letting the psu components get hot or turning eco mode off and let the fan stay on constantly and wear down the fan. what should i do? eco mode on or off?

    Hello,

I do not use eco mode personally but we have not observed any issues with utilizing eco mode in terms of power supply health or MTBF.

Dont worry about the fan as it is rated for very long life operation.
