so is this the new top refresh rate for monitors? first it was 120, then 144, then that 165hz monitor was out, now 240hz? and it's 1080p? I admit I'm not a gamer that has lightning reflexes or plays games that need it, but I'd trade a little of the refresh rate for a higher res or better color screen.

what we really need is an 8k, QLED, 240hz display curved and ultra-wide too all for under $200!

I plan on getting one of those in say, the year 2030-2040. ( or maybe I'll be using the brain implant display, those don't come down in price til 2055. )

Anyway I have to go and wash the time machine, be back later... or earlier perhaps.

Basically the same thing as the BeqQ XL2540 but it has added G-Sync.

Those "240hz TVs" are not showing 240 pictures per second, like 600hz TVs aren't doing it 600 times per second. Current ASUS display however is doing it.

I can't imagine gaming on a native 240Hz screen, omg, that is if hardware can drive it. 240FPS that is a lot even at 1080p

As long as your popular enough, you can get away with anything.

It's not that hard to get 240FPS @ 1080p. The trick is not maxing out all of your graphics and use lower settings... In trade for how smooth the game is going to run with a monitor that can display 240 frames per second.
