Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone who has purchased this motherboard knows how many case fans it will support before needing something more to control about 20 case fans. Thank you!

As a rule of 2a per header & a max of around 7a in total for the board and if you are enquiring about the z170 Sabertooth mark one, you have 1 x CPU Fan connector (4 -pin), 1 x CPU OPT Fan connector (4 -pin) and 6 x Chassis Fan connectors (4 -pin). You basically need to know what your total max fan amps are. Or maybe get a dedicated fan controller instead of or as well as?

Haha thanks for the replies guys sorry it took me so long. Im going super overkill building a green machine! Im going to use Corsair 900D case for my new build and it can support a lot of fans plus push/pull for my 2 gpu rads as well as cpu rad so i was wondering if that motherboard supported that many or if i need to figure something else out haha. Il bolt it down cuz it probably will be like a jet engine once its built!
