Ok, I've been using DSR 4k for a while now ; I have 2 GTX 1080's to run it. Most games run 60fps at max details, except The Division..it dips to 45 at times. But, I don't PVP much anymore. Only in I-racing and APB. What I would like to hear is from someone that has went from DSR 4k to a true 4k monitor. Is there that much of a difference? I mean it should be considering I'm not truly getting 4k.
What got me started on this, is my BenQ XL2420T took a crap after 3.5 years. So, I went out and got an ASUS MX279 at the local store to patch me until ASUS comes out with their 27" 4k 144hz sometime next year. Even though I lost 120hz, this monitor is actually not too bad. But, I'm considering going tomorrow and exchange it for a LG 27UD68(4k)( I wanna stay in the lower price range, otherwise I would get an ASUS 4k). I have to add some dough of course to get it :) I know 60hz...but I prefer detail more since I play offline a lot more.
So, just some opinions of players that have actually went from DSR 4k to true 4k. And is the FPS the same?
