Is it worth the upgrade if I can sell my 920? At least from an OC perspective?

Most likely yes, the 930 comes with an extra multiplier and it'll most likely be a D0 stepping, which generally means more overclocking headroom.

Yes. A D0 will generally go higher than your C0 on less volts. Plus the 930 has the extra multiplier like yellow mensioned.

I recomend geting the 930, but NOT parting with the 920 untill after you OC the 930, that way you can keep the one that gives the highest OC, and unload the other. As others have stated in most cases you will get the higher OC with the D0, but Nothing is guarenteed over stock, and it;'s still Luck of the Draw. I have a 920 at 4.3, and a 965 that will not past 4.0, had I known I never would have bought the EE chip, and saved $800, my piont is I didn't know, and would have no way of knowing without buying the chip.

can't speak to the 930.  But I had a 920 CO and then bought a 920 DO at Microcenter for $200.  Sold my CO on ebay for $200.  I have been able to OC my 920 DO to 4.1 vs. 3.8 on the CO plus running lower temps on the DO.  so for really no real extra cost I was able to improve performance.

Like Kmoore said.  Give it a shot but hold on to your old chip and wait to sell until you know for sure.  Resale on i7s in general on ebay is solid.

In my case it wasnt worth it.
    My c0 does 4ghz at 1.42v
My 930 does 4ghz at 1.32v but is only 2-3c lower.

My 930 needs 1.42v for 4.2ghz and maxes out at 91c using linx.

Safe intel spec voltage for an i7 is maximum 1.4V, so your 930 will definitely last longer than your 920 C0.

Also, VCore is not the sole determinant of Core Temperature.

I'm not to concerned about it lasting longer tbh once i dont kill it within a year or two

I have lowered alot of volts including Vtt and not had any luck reducing temps.
