When I try powering on the pc the fans turn 1/4 and the case lights come on but shuts down almost immediately.

Have you checked all the power connections on the motherboard? If you did, do you have another power supply to test with?

    Dear mmatani,

    Welcome to the forums!

Unfortunately this is usually a sign that the PSU is sensing a power issue and killing power to the machine.   I would disconnect all power connectors other than the motherboard and see if it stops occurring.

If the issue continued then I would disconnect all fans. and see if the lights stay on.

I would then move to devices including memory or taking the motherboard outside of the case to ensure that there isn't a mounting post out of place and checking the CPU socket for a over-tightened cooler or bent pins.
