K Boost wont turn off

Turned on K Boost through the precision software just for curiosity. Tried to turn it off, nothing. Tried to reset to defaults. Nothing. Uninstalled/reinstalled the software, reinstalled NVidia drivers. Nothing. Still stuck. Ideas?

    Stupid question: you restarted the computer after turning off kboost?
     
    Second question, did you use DDU in safemode to remove the drivers? DDU will get rid of anything lurking in the registry that could be causing that.
