Hi, I have a 790i SLI FTW board and have been quite successful overclocking my Q9550 CPU (currently running at 4.01GHz) but have found that I can't use this feature in my BIOS to save or load timing or voltages. Does anyone know if this actually works? Is there anything obvious that you're supposed to do that I'm not other than select a profile under the save/load menu and hit enter? BIOS is I790DZ17. Thanks for any help you can give.

Yeah, just select a profile and enter to save/load..It don't save/load everything tho, just the timing/voltage.

Thanks for the reply. Something has to be wrong for me then as I can't get it to save anything that I enter. I tried loading one of two profiles and my voltages and timings were exactly what they were before I loaded them... I'll have to try it again but I don't think I've done anything wrong.

Do you have Nvidia System Monitor with Performance or NTunes installed on your PC? If so, uninstall it and remove from your rig, it will unexpectly change your BIOS settings at startup.

You may want to check your motherboard battery to see if it is good. If the battery is good, try completely resetting your CMOS by doing the following: 1. Unplug your PSU. 2. Press and hold the start button for 10 seconds to discharge any residual voltage. 3. Clear your CMOS. 4. Remove the motherboard battery for 10 minutes, then reinsert the battery. 5. Clear your CMOS again. 6. Plug the PSU back in, boot into your BIOS, input your settings, then save and exit your BIOS to your desktop.

I'll give that a try and see. Thanks!
