Although only 2 cards, I too got the check and was surprised as well with the same thoughts.

My check came in today also, was very surprised but the forums on [H] Said the checks should be at the homes sometime this week.

    My check came too, 60$
    Better than nothing I guess.
I never had an issue with the GTX970 cards.
They are sold off and upgraded to GTX980Ti and a GTX1080 now.

I still have my 3 970s. All 3 great performers. I never felt ripped off by nvidia for their description of the cards memory. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to get back $30 a card but I think the suit was bull. It was the lawyers that really cashed in. There really is something wrong with the court system.

Got my $60 check in the mail as well.  Still using my 2 970s and also never had a problem with them.  But I'll of course take 60 free dollars.

Never had a single issue with my 970's. Sold mine off when i upgraded to 1070's tho. Flawless at 1440p for me. 4K is still expensive so 1440p it is for now.

    Got mine months ago.

Still EVGA GTX 970 master race too! Hands down the best GPU deal I've ever purchased. Minus additional games and this rebate the actual hardware only cost $120 which is simply amazing.

IMO it wasn't necessary, the 970 still performed exactly as reviewed ...but I'm not one to turn down free money.

I bought a 970 and returned it before opening to get a r9 390 instead. I wish I stuck with it, the settlement would've been a nice bonus haha

Well, what NVIDIA did wasn't exactly fair advertising. I can't understand why they sold the cards with .5GB of useless VRAM... But I guess 4GB is a nice round number.

Late to the game. I guess I hadn't paid attention to a class action over the ram segmentation issue

Got a $90 check for 3 cards.  Rules here were pretty loose.  Didn't matter if you kept the card, just mattered that you initially purchased it.  One payout was for an SC that was stepped up to an FTW (which has already died and since been replaced).  Another was a B-Stock SSC, still in service BTW.
