Hi all,

Ordered an EVGA 1080 Classified GPU which has a backplate on it. The motherboard I have at the minute is a Z170 stinger. I was wondering, will the GPU and IO cover on the motherboard scrape together when installed?

Are the compatible?

Thanks for any help guys.

I have the 980TI Classified gaming with back plate and the Z170 Classified K and the IO cover would not work with the card, they scraped against each other.

Without having the two to test, it is difficult to say 100%, but it should be a non-issue
