Hello, I have reinstalled windows 10 like 25 times and no matter what I do I keep getting the error KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED or in some cases different errors but all of them with the blue screen of dead. I do not know what to do!!!! When I send the motherboard to guarantee... they told me it was good. I have the last drivers of everything... for windows 10 64 bits. At this point, I just did a clean installation of windows and I am running my CPU and ram at standard speed and I am hoping not to get the error again... I need opinions and help!!! I do not know what do anymore!!!! I even follow the steps of a video in YouTube to how to fix the problem but it still the same!!!

Bios 2.01? Full Model Number for your Memory Ram 16GB CORSAIR DDR4 2666 mhz Like CMK16GX4M4A2666C15 or CMD32GX4M4A2666C15 Have you tested with only one Memory Stick? What is the BSOD Code Number? Like 124 or 117 or 101 Is Legacy Enabled in the Bios? Have you set the Bios to the Optimized Settings? If not press and hold the small Red Button on the MB as you power on the computer for 5 or 6 seconds. Enter the Bios and then press the F5 that sets the Bios to the Optimized Settings. Do Not Overclock the CPU or Memory until AFTER the OS is installed AND Updated with all OS Updates and Drivers.

Yes, I have the Bios 2.01. The ram model is CMK16GX4M4A2666C16, I bought it in Amazon on 2015. I did not try with just one memory stick. I had so many BSOD Code numbers but the most common was KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. I cannot tell you the exact code because I just reinstalled Windows and I do not have the dump files. The legacy is enabled in the Bios but I am not sure if I selected Optimized Settings. I will do it now!!! Yes, I do not have any OC activated at the moment to test my pc. I will keep my pc turned on all night, to see if I get any error message. I hope I don't but as soon as I get one, I will let you know. By the way some guy adviced to do this to my registry: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\TimeBroker] "Start"=dword:00000003 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SysMain] "DisplayName"="Superfetch" "Start"=dword:00000003 Can you tell me is it good? or maybe I did something wrong. He told me it could help. I already set the Optimized settings in the bios! Thank you.

You are using SSD Drives so you should Disable SuperFetch and Windows Search altogether in Services. 00000004 is Disable and 00000003 is Manual I it best to use Service Manager and not edit this settings using regedit [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SysMain] "DisplayName"="Superfetch" "Start"=dword:00000004 Not so sure about TimeBroker but the Default is 00000003 or Manual Also you would want to make the change at CurrentControlSet

CurrentControlSet is the in use as ControlSet001 is the backup Use %windir%\system32\services.msc to disable services that you do not want to run. You will also find Services under Administrative Tools TimBroker manages permissions on your PC for apps from Windows Store. Superfetch (otherwise known as Prefetch) feature. Superfetch caches data so that it can be immediately available to your application. Sometimes this can affect the performance of certain applications. It tends to not work well with gaming, but can improve performance with business apps. The type of changes you are reviewing are also ones that can be changed anytime after the OS is installed an running well or stable and updated. Windows 10 can take a while to install all the updates. Remember that a BIG update is coming this Tuesday or the 2nd of August.

I already disable SuperFetch and Windows Search as you told me by using %windir%\system32\services.msc. I will test the computer all night and I will let you know if I have any problem. I also expect that this update will help with my problems.

I would start off with updating all your Drivers like your graphics card, Motherboard Chipset and so on. Also make sure that all Windows Updates are completed. (Create a Windows 7 Image backup of your computer) If you have never Overclocked your CPU review the Forum Overclock and Bios PDF Files. Support Manual for EVGA X99 Micro2 (131-HE-E095) - Part 1 Part 2 May or may not apply - BIOS Guide Non-2 EVGA X99 Quick Overclocking Guide!

True, maybe you should burn in the computer for 2 or 3 days. You could run Heaven non-stop this work do the trick.

I have a question about the OC. The link you sent me recommends to put the PC power plan in High Performance. However, I am using a different one created by my Samsung SSD software (As you can see in the picture) Can it be a problem?

Would need to see all the settings for it. Some items I make sure is I do not allow the network card, USB, PCIe, Hard Drives or for that matter any items to sleep on my computers. Why is because they run 7/24. I do have one Laptop that uses the default settings for a laptop.

It seems stable, I did not have any blue screen yet. In terms of the OC, should I start with the CPU or memory ram?

Always CPU first, get that dialed and tested, then start with the memory, one step at a time. You will see a lot more out of the CPU OC than the memory OC.

I have two questions: First, what program do you recommend to see if my CPU OC is stable? Second, yesterday when I turned off the PC I saw an error about the memory. It was a long code. I could not take screenshot because my phone was charging in the other room. Any recommendation? (this problem happened without any OC at all) Sorry I could not update you about my PC because I have been really busy.

Prime 95 version 26.6 (very important to use this version, newer versions use AVX extensions which run newer processors WAY TOO HOT) overnight is a great stability test. I keep upping the multi til I get a crash, the up the VCORE a little and try again. When it gets too hot for my liking, I back it down a bit and test overnight with a CPU temp program running as well. There are others, but I find Prime95 works very well for me. Specs in the ModsRigs on the left.

Thank you arestavo. However, I have a problem with the OC. I am currently running my PC with a multiplier of 3.8 perfectly. The CPU voltage target is 1.000v and the CPU Offset Voltage is +50. However, when I go to 3.9 or 4.0, windows does not start at all and I have to restart the bios. Even when I put a 1.300 v it does not work! Any recommendation? Am I doing something wrong?
