Yeah, I know the feeling man. I just got my 1070 SC, it is freaking AMAZING! I love it so much, and I'm so happy I can get above 2.1GHz OC on it as well. Crushing benchmarks and games over here has never felt better! I'm assuming your CPU is slowing you a bit down, because I was able to achieve over 17k on fire strike, but with a modern 6700K CPU.
