I get no output to DP until the Windows login screen. DVI looks fuzzy at full res (2560x1440) so I want to use DP.

I'm using a workaround with booting on DVI and then switching to DP, but frankly it's a pain in the arse and not the kind of fudge I should be doing to make the basic function of a high end card work.

Any ideas?

    Hi there

Do you have enabled UEFI boot in BIOS ?
If not I would try to enable UEFI if you don't have UEFI enabled you should be able to see at least to see Starting Windows and then you should be able to see Login screen

In my BIOS i've enabled CSM mode and I'm using dual monitor setup, both monitors are connected through the DP and I can see on boot up Starting Windows and Login screen

    I'm currently running W7 64bit

    Hope this helps

    Thanks,Jura

Hmmm, DP doesn't work for BIOS at all. So it's a thought but I'd doubt UEFI was causing the card to not see the monitor until Windows boots.

Plus I don't really want to convert by boot disk to GPT, with all the messing about that entails unless I really need to.

    Hi there

My W7 installation is still the same as yours(MBR),not UEFI or GPT and everything works for me and my setting in BIOS is too CSM not UEFI and tried too UEFI booting and everything works as should

Did you tried all DP ports?

Not sure why you have issues with yours, did you disabled on-board GPU ?

I've too few issues with my GPU when I turn monitors off(both connected through the DP) and my clocks don't want go beyond 1126MHz on Titan X SC,but that's another story

I would try if its possible to try older driver set,I will check which I'm running,I'm not upgrading my drivers on every update as usually they will break CUDA rendering for me

    Thanks,Jura
