Unless i missed it in the manually. Which slots would 2 way SLI use?

It is strange that there isn't even a second 16x option. This might kill my plans to upgrade to the dark (from gaming 9)

PCIe Lane Distribution (Core™ i9-79xx, 44 Lane Processors)
 PE1 – x16 (Gen3, x16 lanes from CPU, x8 shared with PE2)
 PE2 – x16 (Gen3, x8 lanes from CPU, shares 8 of PE1’s 16 lanes)
 PE3 – x16 (Gen3, x8 lanes from CPU, shares 8 of PE4’s 16 lanes)

 PE5 – x4 (Gen3, x4 lanes from PCH)
 PE6 – x16 (Gen3, x8 lanes from CPU or x4 from PCH based on configuration)
o When populated by a video card x8 Gen3 lanes are allocated from the CPU
o When populated by a card using x4 or x1 lanes, and M.2 80mm slot is populated PE6 receives x4 lanes from the PCH

There is a chart in the bottom of this page - https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=100-2W-0028-LR

Might give an insight on which one would work - without having a board to measure we will have to wait - unless someone from EVGA can give some insight

You can look at their bridge slot classifications here as well - https://www.evga.com/arti...vga-pro-sli-bridge-hb/

ok dark is set up so you can run 2 cards at x16 but must be in slot pie1 and pie4. page 27 in manual for 44 lane cpu's. and if you use 4 card's like I will you have to use pe1, pe2, pe4,and pe6 and that will give you all 4 at gen3 at x8 but can't use any m2 slot's because they will pull at least one of you card's back to times 4 . but use the 2 u2's and they pull only from pcm at 32g each just like m2's do . they will let you run a raid zero on u2's with intel's p900 ssd. with my 4 titian Pascal's in 4/way , I already have cpu  7980 xe 18 core, I will also get 32g of gskill 4100 ram. the only thing not sure about shofar is will one 1600 t evga power supply on 220 volt's will be enough power or will I need 2 again?
