How's it going I recently purchased a dg 85 case. And it seems that the front panel is released by pressing in and clicking a magnet up at the top right and left but it seems when I got it only the top right part of the case the front panel was in that spot able to close shut or slide into that magnet mechanism or whatever but again the left side does not seem to work. This meaning the top left of the front case will not snap shut or that magnet closing effect of that a cabinet has I guess you would call it anyway is there a fix for this or does it actually just not work I'm not sure because one side seems to be fine but the other mechanism magnet closing mechanism doesn't seem to work at all is there a way to fix that?

It does have two push in plastic clips on the top. I would look at those on each side and see if you see that on the case they are broken or obstructed. The front should have kind of a peg and the case has a clip that kind of looks like a LEGO minifigs hands that when pushed in will grip the peg.

Yes the pegs are there and they align and go in but only the right side will clamp/stick in. The top left must be broken I've looked in the inside of the case but the mechanism doesn't seem to be working properlyI can confirm that when I push the right side in the magnet will stay in and then I push it in again with let's say a screwdriver a pin and then it'll pop back out so confirm the right side works but the left side will not work at all does that mean I just received a faulty unit on arrival? If so that's very unfortunate because I just bought this case and wasn't even sure if that's how it was supposed to be but people who were saying that wasn't right.. is that normal to be shipped out like that does anybody else have that happen if so does EVGA support with anything like that because I'm not sure if RMA this case is worth it because the hassles I had to go through with shipping just for this to arrive was insane

Looks like I'll have to. Contact evga support. I hope this can be fixed without having to rma having rhe front to right panel hanging like this bums me out everytime I look at it now that I moved my motherboard in the usb 3.0 on the side do not work. It's recieving power just not picking anything up it's enabled in the BIOS aurus z390 ultra this case is looking to be a mistake 😵 I know the front panel is messed up when I got it for sure I'll have to check the molex connection again for the usb 3.0 manual said that molex in there is for the fan controller only and I don't have anything plugged into it anyways I'll plug that in and see if it does anything. but any suggestions on how to get this pannel fixed without rma? Thanks in advance

Plugged in the molex that was in the case for the fan controller in hopes that would do something with the USB 3.0 but still nothing when I plug a flash drive into it the light indicator turns on but flashes almost like it's in standby mode or charge mode or something not quite sure what the issue is with that as well so we got two problems now with this case anybody got any ideas on how to fix this. Edit for the usb 3.0 working had to push the usb I pretty darn hard to get it to pick it up very crispy ports just haven't been touched in ages. but front panel still can't close.

Is there any visible part missing near the panel connection on the inside maybe? Compare the sides and see if there's anything different

No there's not I have stared at it and messed with it for a week now and I have no idea how that mechanism works or what the hell they did it all looks the exact same as the other side I poked and prodded it from the inside of the case from the outside of the case it looks the same the only difference is when I push in that left side it doesn't do anything it just keeps in and out in and out I want to push in the right side it sticks in and then I push it again it sticks out like it's supposed to. I don't know I might have to just chalk this one up as a loss and a lesson learned on who to not buy from again I guess. About this case from b&h photo that place is a joke.I should have noticed the red flags win they had fake reviews on their case and when I left my review they didn't post it looks like they're dictating their reviews over there I don't know. I bought some strong double-sided tape also bought some velcro and I bought some of these strong magnets thin ones hopefully I can rig something I don't know but at this point I'm spending more money and on this thing trying to repair it. Worst investment in case of ever made.
