with this driver I noticed my 980Ti Hybrid gets quiet a bit hotter than it used to be. from 52C to ~ 56C eventhough it's now pretty cold in good old germany.

Noob question?  When SLI profiles are added, do you still get the previous profiles even though you skipped a few driver versions?

Previous SLi profiles are all included, along with the new ones.
So you can safely skip a few driver releases and update to the latest one.

I just installed them and haven't done any gaming yet but this is the second set of drivers this year that scored a 6.0 on my WEI in Windows 7 until I ran it a second time. After I do some Folding overnight I will enable SLI and see what happens with my games.

This is because WEI doesn't use the Boost clocks on graphics cards correctly these days
(GPU pretty much performs the WEI test with idle clock speeds, which will give you a low score).

This has been a problem for a few years now on Windows 7's WEI (and possibly on Windows 8.0 as-well).

Only way to get the right score is to use PrecisionX and enable K-Boost before you run the WEI,
and once you get the correct score you can turn K-Boost back off again.

I would also recommend turning the GPU fan speeds way up before using K-Boost,
as the GPU will run at maximum clock speeds and get pretty warm while it is enabled.

You can go back to the 359.00 WHQL drivers. I never had any problems with them. These latest drivers only have SLI profiles for Fallout 4 that interested me and other SLI profiles for other games.

So, I own two Classified 980 Ti's in SLI. Two driver releases ago my performance suddenly suffered a permanent and solid 10 FPS on every title. I thought my cards had gone bad so I replaced them via warranty at Micro Center. But when I returned and reinstalled the new video cards, the problem was still there.

Ultimately, I had to roll back my driver to get normal performance out of my SLI video cards. Now that their drivers are multiple iterations behind, I am bothered that I cannot update them.

So, EVGA techs, please help me out with this matter. I have adjusted everything within NVIDIA Control Panel, EVGA Precision x16, Windows Hardware Manager, and I have even utilized command prompt to enter some specific lines to adjust performance. All of my attempts at solving my 50 FPS locked problem have failed.

    Here is my system:

Intel i7-5930k cooled by Corsair H110i GT and overclocked at modest 4.0 GHz
ASUS Rampage V Extreme 2011-v3 with OC Panel in 5.25" bay used for hardware monitoring
32 GB of Corsair DDR4 2400 running at 2666 MHz and stock voltage (set manually, not through XMP)
EVGA 980 Ti Classified x2 in SLI running at stock Classy speeds connected by 3-Way EVGA SLI Bridge
Western Digital Blue 1 TB (728 GB used)
Crucial BX200 480 GB SSD (65.7 GB used)
EVGA SuperNova 1600W G2 Power Supply
Noctua Industrial PPC NF-A14 3000 RPM PWM x3 (two intake and one exhaust)
Creative Labs: Sound Blaster Zx dedicated sound card
    Audio-Technica PG1 Gaming Headset
Corsair SP2500 2.1 Stereo Gaming Speakers (draws from it's own power source)
    Logitech Orion Spark Keyboard (G910)
Logitech Proteus Core Mouse (G502) (FPS/TPS)
    Logitech G600 Mouse (Action/MMO/MOBA/RPG)
Acer XB280HK 3840x2160 G-Sync Monitor with TN Panel, 1ms Response, and 1.07 Billion Color Count
    Windows 10 Home OS

    Further Firmware Information:

Current 980 Ti Classified Driver installed -  GeForce 354.35
Available Driver for Download via NVIDIA GeForce Experience - GeForce 359.06

I love and appreciate all the EVGA hardware I've been fortunate enough to own, y'all engineer the best in the business and have the best tech support to boot. This is the first time I've had issues with video cards from EVGA in the four years I've used an NVIDIA EVGA GPU. Just want to try the forums before I call in and take up someone's time.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Sincerely

    -Matt

    Found it.

A couple of questions. Does the frame rate lock happen when you are using just one of the two cards compared to utilizing SLI?

Download a few drivers like 355.80, 359.00 and just leave them in the download section. Don't do anything with them just yet.

Download DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and reboot into safe mode then remove the Nvidia drivers.

Reboot into windows and install 359.00 with the Custom install selection. Leave the driver itself and the physx driver only. Do not use GeForce experince, 3d or audio for this part.

If you can, go into a game you play occasionally and delete the configuration file and then let it rebuild that.

Try the game in single card mode. See how it goes and then try sli.

See how that works and let us know.
