Hello guys, I did not post in long time as life is life and it gets complicated...…… anyway, Getting X299 Micro 2 board. Thinking between 10 or 12 core 9xxx cpu. Which one of these would overclock better to higher Hz? All will be on custom water cooling loop. Just to say I was previously on i7-3770k oc'ed to 4.6 GHz for 6 years. Mid 2018 switched to Z390 mITX board and 8086k at 4.8 GHz. Thanks all,

12Core is a HCC chip which means the die is bigger and its easier to cool they also tend to be better silicon. If your going to push a 12 core on the micro 2 make sure there is some decent airflow across the board as the vrm will be working hard :)

Does EVGA x299 board bios have option for vdroop/ load line calibration? Currently at 4.80 GHz. trying to tighten down voltages.
