Since its been 3-4 years, decided to build a few new systems, one for me and one for the youngin.  His computer, the one pictured below which is aptly named Lil Eddie 2.0, is primarily air cooled, with an AIO cooler.  Twice as powerful as its predecessor and much better on the cable management, since most of it isn't seen from the other side at all.

My "monster/super computer" is yet to be named, will be my first attempt at a custom water cooled system, once I finish deciding all the parts I would like/need.

Nice, but why you bought 900D for X99 Micro 2.
Should decide what you need more, I suppose mATX board.
Than some 450D. I mean 900D is more beautiful, nicest from new Obsidian series, but only because empty space.
He is for HPTX, XL-ATX. Even E-ATX look small with single graphic inside...
Cable management is very well made, you should move DVD-RW on the top and cables for them through top hole and
power cables for graphic cards together. I will give you first +1... in MODS RIGS.

I really didn't pay attention to its size, when I was comparing its functionality to other boards before purchasing it. I was working on the premise of a "reasonable" budget.  Aside from the systems I built for my son, all the cases I have used for my systems have been rather large, and I make every effort to fill them up.  I have been contemplating replacing the Micro 2 with a different motherboard, but haven't settled on anything permanent.

ASUS should launch Rampage 5 Extreme Black Edition soon.
But if you bought one X99 board, no reason to pay twice.
