I have a GTX 970 SSC and I can only hear very little coil whine only when the GPU is pushed at 100 percent constant utilization which won't happen when normal gaming.

If you purchased your card at an authorized EVGA dealer and a fault occurs (which is very rare) you can apply for an RMA.

So just in case a fault occurs I can directly ship the card to their Taiwan RMA centre from India via a carrier/courier?

I am not familiar with the procedures in Asia so I assume in such a case you would receive step-by-step guidance for this after applying for the RMA. I will ask EVGA if they can provide any additional info for you.

Coil Whine will occur and be noticeable immediately with a stress test at 640x400 or lower (500+FPS). Most people don't notice it for a long time with noise cancelation headphones and no one stress tests at that resolution or gets that FPS. I would reccomend using OOCT as that gave me the loudest coil whine every time. From there, you can replace it at your retailer.

    Shaz13,

It is recommended to purchase products in India from re-seller who can offer you direct warranty assistance.  Please understand that exporting items for warranty to Taiwan can be complicated and while it is possible, it is not recommended if it can be avoided.

I am not sure Indian RMA centers will accept a product purchased in USA; well mostly don't unless it comes with international warranty.

    Intel 4790K, Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK,
EVGA GTX 970 SSC ACK 2.0,
    EVGA Supernova G2 750W,
GSkill 1866 4*8 gb,  Crucial 500 GB SSD, CM Storm Stryker
Corsair K70 Red with Logitech G602
