So I just received my Titan X yesterday and noticed one of my monitors has green lines/specs running through The screen. I have 3 Asus 24 inch 1080p @ so it's running 5760 x 1080. I have one monitor in DVI the 2nd in HDMI and the third using a DP to HDMI. None of my monitors have display ports unfortunately..(Need to upgrade) The only one that is acting up is the one connected to the DP. I have switched cables / monitors with no success. After doing some research I read you may need an ACTIVE adapter to run the third monitor due to clock speeds??? Has anyone ran into this before? Thanks in advance.

check your cables out make sure they are in properly if you can test them one at a time

Yeah I bought 3 DP to HDMI cables... Different sizes and all 3 cables were giving my green lines.. I forgot to mention The screen would also blank out 5-6 times if that helps..lol. I hope it's not the GPU. Returns are such a pain...

I want to say it seems to be the cable do have any way of testing one card by itself on cable at a time on one monitor also what driver are you using

Using the latest driver. Forgive me for not knowing the exact one off the top of my head. The reason why I don't think it's the cable is because I have 3 DP to HDMI cables and all three cables give me an issue... So picture this: one monitor uses a DVI to DVI next uses HDMI to HDMI and the third monitor I have switched out three different DP to HDMI all with the same issues on that last monitor. I've switched the monitors around and it's always the one that uses a DP to HDMI.. So frustrating.. Do you think I need to try an active adapter from DP to HDMI on that last monitor?

try one monitor one cable at a time sometimes cable can be bad

use cable number one test all of the displayport  one a time on a single monitor at a time if not the cable then it could monitor but if not the monitor then i would call evga tech support for your region last time i had green lines my dvi cable was bad when i did run quad sli with 680 and 590 in past with 144hz asus but test cable one at a time one one monitor at a time

Yeah that sounds like a plan... After midnight here so the lines will have to wait till tomorrow.. I'm guessing if it's not the cable than I need to either A: try the active adapter B: return the card for a new one or C: buy another Titan x and avoid the DP all together.. Leaning toward C 😄
