4990 is the non SC reference and the 4992 are the reference SC version. Anything with ACX is not recrence. They have the ACX coolers. PCB is the same.

So all these cards above have the reference pcb? I thought the Classified has a custom pcb?

The cooler doesn't matter for me. I'm asking this because I want to replace the cooler and the new cooler only fits the reference pcb.

Only Classified have custom PCB, all other models are reference PCB and compatible with water blocks for TITAN X or GTX980Ti.
4993 and 4995 are absolutely same models only 4995 have backplate.

I know all EVGA models exactly when I see number I know model.
If someone want to use 980Ti as single card configuration I would recommend ACX 2.0 model and later to replace cooler.

Thanks for the replies. I'm still not sure which reference pcb model I should choose. I want to overclock the card so I want the best chance to buy a good overclocker.

Why would you recommend a ACX 2.0 model instead of the reference cooler? I want to replace the cooler as soon as I receive the card because I already have the cooler.
