did you go into the device manager and update the drivers manually ? you might have to do that. look for a divice in the device manager that is not recognized like your graphics card or monitor and let the computer search for drivers online .

Are you sure you got the correct drivers? From what OS you upgraded from? Probably w10 already upgraded for you? Have you run windows update yet? Press the window key on the keyboard, click on settings and chose the last box where it says updates. To be honest, I Would seriously recommend doing a clean install when upgrading to Windows 10. Most hardware companies have updated their drivers to W10.
A brief summary on how I did mine:
1. Install OS: WXP, W Vista, W 7 or W8.1 from a full formatted/new HDD. 2. Install service packs of the OS you are using. Make sure you uncheck the gpu and sound drivers. 3. You need to have all the updates installed for the OS you are using. Be sure to download the chipsets, LAN, wifi, USB, Bluetooth, Intel rapid storage, sound, gpu drivers for Windows 10. 4. After you finish downloading all the drivers, proceed to Upgrade to Windows 10. Once the upgrade is completed, install all the drivers you downloaded for Windows 10. I recommend you follow the order I posted. Please be sure to run windows update the moment you finish with the installation of all the drivers. 5. Once Windows 10 is up to date, I can say you are safe to download games, or any software you use on your daily basis.

Thnks for the reply... Yeah this is exactly what I was trying to avoid. This is far too much work to do on this machine.. it would take days to get this back up and running... Having to go from clean install instead of upgrade makes 10 far too much work than itis worth to me. I already have a fully updated version of 7 64 ultimate , all of my mobo drivers are current but maybe not win 10........ In teir update info they of course never say that you will need to redownload countless GIG of games and programs again and install as new.... I wonder now why they even call this an UPGRADE install .. hmmmmm Thanks again.

No problem. I am glad I was able to clarify it for you, and yes some drivers need to be upgraded as well, not just the graphics card. It seems to be like a big hustle to get it running but to be honest, every now and then is good to do a clean install in your system. If you have 1 main hard drive for everything, I can understand the pain on installing all the stuff. This is why I would recommend getting another HDD. That way you have 1 for gaming and the other one for work related. It will make your life easier.
