Decided to build this from some parts I scored on the FS section from EVGA and bought some extras from Newegg and PPC. I spent a good part of October doing some work on a Client build for a friend and just finished water cooling my own personal rig so I figured why the heck not just add to the pile of spare parts and build a really sleek themed build. I started with a nice EVGA X79 Dark mobo with an i7-3930k and 16gb of Corsair Dominator Platinum that I bought off the FS thread for a good price. Honestly with CPU and mobo development being somewhat stagnant for the past few years the X79 should work well for a gaming PC base for years to come especially with a 6 core in it. I also have a ton of extra Razer Keyboards so I thought why not do a Black and Green "Razer" themed build and while searching for a case the NZXT S340 just made that choice clear.
The NZXT S340 was a very different case than what I am used to. It was a very clean design and the added touches with the LED lighting with the Razer edition was perfect. The only major concern was the size of the X79 Dark mobo and the case specs stating it does not support E-ATX boards. Well it fit with about 1/8" to spare thankfully.
Cable management was really interesting. The case design coupled with some green 12" 24pin, 8pin CPU, and a 6/8 pin GPU cables from PPC allowed me to pretty much hide everything while still keeping the back side of the mobo tray very clean and well managed especially with an EVGA 750B PSU that is semi modular. There was ample space to hide the unnecessary cables with careful planning.
For CPU cooling I went with an Alphacool Eisburg High Flow edition CPU block/pump with an Alphacool 30mm 240 radiator. I used some Monsoon Dark Chrome fittings I had with some black 3/8"ID and 1/2" OD tubing. To add to the "wow" I went a little retro and added some black light LED strips and installed UV reactive green anti-kink coils to all the tubing giving the case interior a nice effect.

All buttoned up with an EVGA GTX980SC ACX2.0 GPU and a Samsung 250gb SSD for the OS it was ready for me to take and break it in at my LAN party.

In summery it turned out to be one of my more well rounded builds with some of the best cable management I have done. The NZXT S340 Case was great to work with and of course it's even better filled with an EVGA PSU, Mobo, and GPU. Total the build ran me around $1250 for everything including the OS thanks to some of the deals I got here on the forums.
