Basically I just received my acx backplate for my EVGA gtx 750ti FTW edition.
After installing the backplate I noticed that the plate doesn't reach the back of the card. There is a pretty big gap between the actual card and the backplate making all of the thermal pads on backplate useless is this normal?

Did you out anything between the backplate and card? Just make sure you didn't put the washers in between the two.

The plate should be close enough for the pads to make contact.

I am not aware there was any washers to be removed. I have edited top post to show pictures.
Instructions did not say anything about removing anything. the silver "washer" you see is attached to the back plate itself.

If you take the backplate off, is there an impression on the thermal pads at all?

nope nothing, the pads are basically untouched.

That is strange. It should definitely be sitting closer to the PCB. I am not sure what would be causing it to offset so much though.

I assume the 4 stands (where the screws attach to backplate to back of board) are taller than they're suppose to be?

Did I receive a defective backplate?

It's always possible, but highly unlikely.

Send EVGA a support ticket and see what they can help you with.
