I just built a hadron I would not use one I went with the reference sc and noctua NH-U8B. With heaven benchmark and prime95 running I got 58 c on cpu and 63 c on 980

 Thanks evga  doesn't have to many choices in the 970's no reference and the blower ones they have they decided not to make back plates for deal breaker for me .If I want a reference 970 the only place is bestbuy for 389. just sold 1 770 4gb 1 770 classified and got my 780 classified on ebay. trying to  decide what to replace them with 2 of my pc's are hadron's which can only use blower cards  the other 2 I had sli in which blower is better but might not need sli  with 980's tough choice when you can almost get 2 970,s for a 980
