For me, the only turn-off about a Titan X is the fact that it could break right after the 3 years warranty mark, but then a friend told me I can extend my warranty by 2 years for only 25€ when I buy from EVGA. When I buy a EVGA Titan X from a german retail online shop, and registrate it here, I can extend the warranty by 2 years (for a total of 5 years) for only 25€, is that correct? So if that thing dies by some kind of hardware failure, which I haven't had anything to do with other than actually having used it for gaming, I will get it repaired or replaced?

If all this is right, where the hell is the catch? This sounds to good to be true

Hi SpaceVampire,

Welcome to the forums!

Yes, that is correct. If you purchase an EVGA Titan X new from an authorized retailer and then keep a receipt from the purchase, you may buy an extended warranty for the 5 year plan which is an additional 2 years warranty within the first 90 days of purchase.

What the actual frick?!

Just to be really sure, with the 5 years warranty, when that thing breaks after let's say 4 years, you guys will repair it without charging me for the repair? If yes I'll straight up buy a Titan X from EVGA, right now! Ohh and the part with the authorized retailer, are those specific shops or just simple retailers that sell the EVGA cards. Edit: These are the retailers I have to buy from I guess evga,com/products/wheretobuy.aspx?t=Online.

Damn, none of the listed shops have it in stock :(

Also, it's weird that you get Witcher 3 for 960-980, but not for the Titan X.

Yes, if you purchase the 5 year warranty then we will repair or replace it if it has a failure from normal use within 5 years of the purchase date.

If the retailer purchases the cards through the proper channels and is able to verify the receipt if it is needed in the future then it should not be a issue.

That is correct. Nvidia is not offering The Witcher 3 with these products.
