I've been to several forums and getting mixed reviews on my new build. My budget is limited so I'm searching for the best deals on parts.
So far, what I've gotten is:
NZXT 810 Switch case
Corsair CS 750M power supply
Corsair Vengeance 1866 MHz DDR3
all for $200.00
Parts that are still pending:
i7 3960X
Asus Sabretooth X79
both for $450.00
or
i7 4770K
random motherboard I choose
 
People have told me that for just gaming the 3960x is overkill and I would never use it's potential. So, If I was to keep within my budget of $450.00 what woud be the best route?
 
Also, for GPU I'm getting an R9 290X 4 GB for $100.00
