    Awesome! I think is saw you on reddit the other day.
     
    All you need now is to purchase the backplate and paint it white as well!
     
    Edit: I just painted one of my GTX 780 ACX and it looks sweeeet. I'll post pics when I get the second one in the mail and paint that one as well! Thanks again man!

    The LED strip was from walmart for about $10.
     
    And warranty isn't an issue. I originally painted the whole thing white, and tried to use model car paint to re-paint the black parts. However, the paint I had was old and just made a mess so I soaked the whole shroud in paint thinner and scrubbed it all off. I used an electric toothbrush for the smaller areas, then I re-painted it again using frogtape. I didn't realize at first how good the stuff would work.

    Would anyone know if painting the heatsink would degrade its heat disappation? I want to paint the pipes and fins on a new 970 black. Yea or nay?
