GTX980 SCX ACX 2.0 not getting any fan readings

Hey ya'll,
 I just got my GTX980 SC ACX tonight and just installed it with the newest 344.48 driver, everything seems to be working properly but I'm not getting any fan readings in Precision X16 or NVIDIA inspector 1.9.7.3.
 
 The fans are running and the card is staying cool but I'm hoping it's not defective, I waited a month to get this card and I want to do some damage to my game list!

    Fans will spin when core reaches 60*c.
     
    Maybe I'm mistaken.
