I have a new 850w EVGA power supply I installed on my 1366 EVGA motherboard. In the last couple days, I have seen my hardware raid need a rebuild, and the computer won't start from the power button until I press the reset button on the motherboard. I have loaded the defaults in the bios, and checked connections. Thoughts anyone?

Seems like a motherboard issue if the power connection is good and the reset button is needed. Did you try removing and re-seating the CMOS battery?

No, but I will do that. I am also going to re-check all of the front panel connectors on the motherboard.

Make sure you check the connection to all the components is tight. In the past I have build that won't boot because I have a slightly loose connector/connection.

OK...I had the same issue with my X58 board when I put the EVGA 750G PSU on it.  In order to get it to run correctly...clear the CMOS, by pushing the reset button either externally or internally and re-do all your settings from scratch.  In my case, the machine was flawless after that.  Prior to the EVGA PSU, I was using a Corsair...

    Give that a try...

Actually I had an issue like that on a board, worked fine in a different case, would post once the FP connections were plugged into my cosmos case.  Case was free so I couldn't really complain there.... but it did not turn on, and once unplugged I had to reset the BIOS before it would post.  Tried it again later same issue.  So I found you can have this issue form a hosed front panel if your cases front panel controls uses a circuit board for everything it may be bad causing this issue.
