Well after almost a year of great performance my sr2 seems to have crapped out. It will post but only if I reset the cmos. NOTHING has changed. It's been working at the same clock speed for a long time. Now the board will not post unless I reset the bios and unplug the power for a while. Then after I save changes in the bios NOT OVERCLOCKING at all i get a cycle of codes: B2 00 e8 01
It will not run at all. I've tried everything removing ram reseating graphics card cpu it seems to have bit the dust all of a sudden.

Well just Googled it and I appear to have the same problem. The guy has the same codes after a storm. I haven't used the computer since the last storm in FL and the only solution was to leave it unplugged and let it lose the power from the capacitors. I'll try tomorrow and see what happens. Same exact code sequence same exact problem. This computer is hooked up to a surge protector too.

You should be able to speed up the process by disconnecting the power cable from the back of the PSU, removing the CMOS battery and pushing on the power button several times.  Let it rest a while then reverse the process and test.

If this changes nothing you can run the system bare bones if you don't have spare parts to test with and see if the behavior changes.

Well tried again with one stick of ram for each cpu. Still having the same problems. Guess it's time to rma the board. :'(

I hope my advice isn't an omen for storms, but here's some more hopefully without the lightning.  If you have both CPU sockets populated, try disabling them one at a time (moving the single stick of RAM so it's on with the active CPU).  Now if only one is in use you can move it over to the second slot.

You also have access to a second BIOS that can be used by flipping the BIOS select switch but if it hasn't been used it may be on an older revision than what you are currently using.

Yes I've tried all the stuff listed above and this board is still cycling through the same codes. Guess it's gonna have to be sent off. I hope this problem gets resolved.
