Ok....I normally don't let things get to me all that much. But... I need to voice or type about this Just 3 days ago I was config'n my home theater system (speakers) because I rearranged my living room. No big deal right? Ok...so as I was doing that I discovered that my center channel's tweeter no longer worked. So what the hell? I will NOT give names or the manufacturers name but I will say this....It's a very reputable company. I will spare no money when it comes to my toys. So what I did was look up my warranty and discovered that it was covered. To make this story short...I posted on their forum (Which I don't belong too, nor any other forum for that matter) I received some disrespectful responses. Especially one individual that seemed that he was "all that". I ignored ONE of his replies but after 2? Dude....as I said....I normally don't let words get to me but...enough is enough. This person was waaaay outta line IMO. I mean all I asked was if I could or am able to get a replacement for this tweeter and I get a screwed up response like his/hers? Bottom line is this... Compared to some forums to this one? This is why I don't belong to others. This is my home. EVGA members, employees are polite. The mods here are the "stuff". At least here OUR members are polite and willing to help or give advice without disrespect and ridicule. THE MODS OVER THERE SUCK! I couldn't believe that they let that "stuff" go!?!?! No...it's not corsair. They had accommodated me on 2 PSU's so I can't say anything bad about them. But...I'm not talking about corsair or anything about computers. I'm talking about some home theater speakers.

Not sure if you did already but try calling them and stay calm when discussing it with them, I find they usually are way more helpful if you talk reasonably. (Not saying you don't.) Was it a normal member or a company staff doing that?

It's unfortunate that these things happen but customer service is one of the bottom lines for a company. If your customer service isn't doing their job then the likelihood of repeat buyers falls over time.

Well if you have not noticed already if you want to be apart of this forum you are forced to be respectful. Part of the TOS. But at times and I am sure you see people on here are butt holes too. They dont straight up say it in a matter by swearing and all but the sure do have some smart a$$ responses. But ya like Halo says try to call and if that does not work, try to see in they have some kind of live chat on the computer then. If your home theater system is from Sony, LG, or Samsung, then they should indeed have some kind of live chat session with service.

Things worked out OK. I called "them" that day and they were very nice about it. But my rant is mainly about the forum members over there. They SUCK!! And...as I said... comparing to EVGA and that forum over there is DAY/Night. Maybe I'm spoiled? Or being to sensitive? Makes me feel I am blessed to have such good people around here. Regardless of some bad apples around here. But the percentage of jerk members over there to here weighs more IMO. Anyways...the bottom line is this: "Fug" them forums over there. This is my 'home' and you can't make me leave. So your stuck EVGA!!! LMAO!

Being sensitive, stern but not a pushover isnt eazy, but when it comes to products I buy, your going to get it from barrels, but I dont try to be rude about it. The trick is, not being a pushover and when to count ur loses and move on, like RJ said, Ive sead many times, repeat customers is what keeps ur business going, and the sad part is, most consumers or gamers dont get that!

"less than helpful" individuals inhabiting the "interwebz". :( Encrypted_GodEVGA members, employees are polite. The mods here are the "stuff". That has been my experience. :) Encrypted_Godrjohnson11It's unfortunate that these things happen but customer service is one of the bottom lines for a company. Exactly True - I factor in customer service in to most purchasing decisions (I take the view "I seriously hope I never need it, but plan for the worst and hope for the best").

I will say sometimes I get a little upset with the mods on here but you make a very valid point. EVGA has been a reputable forum site and company. If I were a new person to the EVGA brand and had a issue I would come on here and be taken care of vs other company forum sites I will not mention. Like always Keep it Classy EVGA.

LOL, I had the same thing when I had my PANASONIC plasma fail. I tried to get some advise if anyone could help me since I was just out of my warranty and what I got was a bunch of fanboys whining and basically telling me that I should just pay to have it fixed because PANASONIC is the best ect ect ect. I went on a week rampage of posting bad reviews, emailing my displeasure to PANASONIC and looking up class action lawsuits. That company not only sucks but they did nothing to help me. Lesson learned and in the end, I sold it for $100 on craigslist and now have 100" of awesome in my living room that has nothing to do with Panasonic. (notice I capped "PANASONIC" a bunch because I want people to remember them and how bad they suck.) PS Panasonic SUCCCCKKKKSSSS.

I base a lot of my buying around this. I usually go to amazon since I've never had one single problem with their customer support. DeWalt on the other hand!!!!!!! I will just say if I didn't already own several DeWalt power tools I would not pick that brand again.
