First off, I would like to say this mouse has been great for the few hours that I tested it on BF4 and BFH.  I'm coming from a mx518 that I've had since I believe BF2 came out, this mouse is almost better in every way.  Looks better, I like the longer wider and longer left and right clickers, and I found that tracking targets with this mouse was much more accurate than with the mx518, regardless of what dpi setting I was using.  Software takes some getting use to, but after about half an hour of messing around with it on the BF4 test range and fine tuning settings, I found it works very well.

However, the one issue I'm having is the right clicker take maybe 3-5x as much force to click as opposed to the left clicker, depending on where you are pressing it.  The left clicker is flawless.  As a matter of fact, going off of plain Microsoft mouses and various Logitech ones I've used, it felt perfect out of the box.  Didn't feel too easy to press or needed too much pressure. Another issue is there is a small gap where the click registers on the right side as opposed to the left.  The left side I can click it from where the dpi buttons are, all the way to the very tip of the clicker.  The right one, there is only like maybe slightly over an inch where clicks actually register (around where the scroll is) and as I mentioned, requires much more force to do so.  Also, probably worthy of mentioning is that is right clicker felt like this out of the box, and after the couple of times I opened the up the mouse to mess around with the weights.  So I'm pretty the top is on correctly.

With that said, is anyone else having this issue?  Do I need to break it in longer?  My brother had a g400 on a rig I built him where both clickers felt very stiff out of the box, but it did get better over time.  Also, if I RMA/exchange for new one, should I go through EVGA or NewEgg to do so?  Any help is appreciated!  Thanks!

Have you removed the top cover? If so and you didn't follow the "proper" method which isn't anywhere on the mouse or packaging you could have snapped one of the catches. If that's not the case the cover may just not be seated correctly, getting it to snap in place in the middle is just part of it, you need to get the tabs under the buttons in place as well. It took me several attempts to get the clicks right on both buttons after adding some weights.

This usually means that the top cover may not be seated fully, make sure to press firmly towards the back end of the top cover. You should hear a loud click, if still like this please give us a call, we may need to replace the top piece.

+1 to both of the above.  Seriously this right click problem is mostly because folks aren't following the youtube video that Jacob posted earlier.  Once you do it right, the trick is to reverse the procedure.  It took me a few tries (mostly because I'm old and my eyes are not so good anymore),  Once I took a deep breath it worked like a champ.

Just for others new to the mouse, before you set the weights in, make sure it all works as it comes out of the box.  That will save you numerous hours of frustration when you know it worked before, you modded it and it doesn't work then.  Self induced errors are the easiest to troubleshoot when you have a baseline.

Not necessarily the case. Since having replaced the cover (to add weights), I am having similar issue (kind off). For me, it is the left clicker. While it may not be 3-5x different like the original poster, the left clicker takes more force (I have taken off and 'reseated' the cover about 8 - 9 times, but it hasn't helped.) The cover is on properly (with the that appropriate locking sound as well).

Then I would suggest you either screwed something up... or it's not seated right.  If a 59 year old guy can get it working just fine then you youngsters should be smart enough to also.

Glad to know that you ARE older then me.
I took two tries for me to get the top cover on, but once done this is a great Mouse.
Also if you can lift the top sides a little then the top in not in the correct way.

I also had to put the top on twice.  Having read the forums prior to getting mine I was aware of the issue related to taking it off and putting it on.  It felt like it was on the first time but the clicking was hard.  When I reseated it, it worked fine.  Perhaps something they can adjust on the next version.  :)

I watched the video which I believe Jacob linked before I bought the mouse, just the make sure I wouldn't snap anything trying to get the cover off.  Everything is still there as the left side under the cover is identical to the right.  Little pillar pieces that touches the switches are still intact and the front and the back catches are still there on both sides.

Yup, I get the loud click.  I try it for a little bit longer.  As I use it more, it seems like it becomes less and less noticeable and I doesn't feel like I have to put as much force on it to get a response.  Not sure if that is because I'm wearing it in, becoming use to it, or both.  The click however audibly sounds different though.  The left has a sharp clicking noise, while the right sounds more muffled.

I'll give it a few more hours of use before look to replace something.  It is a great mouse though.  Very happy with it beside that one right clicker.

My clicks weren't working either after my first cover removal, when it snaps into place in the middle that is just seating the middle catches, you need to make sure BOTH catches on the buttons get seated properly.

First try on seating the cover neither button clicked, second try the right clicked fine the left was "off" sometimes it took more pressure, sometimes nothing period, third try it worked the same as it did when first removed from the box.

The cover is very poorly designed IMO for a part the user is encouraged to remove, its too easy to break if you don't know the proper method which isn't in/on the box or mouse, and its very tricky to put back on properly.  I know it would probably be more expensive, but a slightly recessed hatch on the bottom might have ended up cheaper factoring in replacement parts and shipping.

If it didn't have adjustable weights and no reason to remove it the cover is just fine as long as not many break during assembly.....but that's not the case here.
