just a thought.... a rather cost effective thought to the vram issues on gtx 960s

why can't we add a vram module to the second pci e slot for the gpu to utilize via sli? the idea could be that it would get round the bit rate by using the other lanes available too. a 2 gb gddr5 vram cache expansion cant be impossible to invent. just look at the early ibm compatible pc designed turbo button for instance. or the multi used expansion cards which gave 2 different expansions on one card like sound and serial 15pin controller capability
