I tried to install a 64-bit VirtualBox guest, but received an error that virtualization support was not operational. I can't find an option to enable VT-x in the BIOS. How do I turn it on, or does the motherboard not support VT-x?

Under BIOS and cpu feature there should be an option label Virtualization Technology or something similar

Sorry. BIOS Main Menu--> Frequency/Voltage control--> CPU Feature--> Virtualization Technology(Enable this)

Replying to a old post, but thanks. I couldn't find virtualization in bios. Old post helped. Really speed up bluestacks on my evga x58.

helped me too tonight with this older mainboard and bios. also couldn´t find it before. never suspected it under frequency voltage control, thank you
