I have a corsair h 100 or something like that. It is the 2 fan double size radiator cpu watercooler. I bought it new way over a year ago and couldn't find a case it would fit in so I never used it. I finally recently modified a case for it. I built the computer turned it on and the i7 3820 cpu would immediately shut off. I turned it back on and the cpu and radiator fans were running so I quickly went into bios and it was almost 100 degrees celsius. It shut down again right away. I am not that experienced with these and the other few I used worked properly. How do you tell if the coolant is circulating and how do you fix it in a self contained water cooler? I'm stumped and would appreciate any advice or help. Thanks

Clean off thoroughly and replace the Thermal compound. It's probably too dry being a year old.  Re-seat the cooler...  Even if you think it's on correctly... Can you tell if the pump is running?
