I have a old dell that I am looking to replace and would like some advice on a new one. Id like a large screen, good enough for gaming if needed and something I can watch movies on when traveling.
What are the higher end ones I should be looking at.

Asus RIVE
Intel 3960x
Corsair ax1200
Coolmaster CosmosII
Mushkin pc3 16 gigs
corsair H100
eVGA gtx 980 ti SLI
Windows 7 64

gamewise, anything and budget is to try to stay at or under 3k. I really want a good, solid Laptop i can game on but I dont want one gold plated with diamonds of you know what I mean.

I would look for a gaming laptop with a 17in. screen and a core i7 CPU that runs at least 3.4.
A decent graphics card like a 770 would be outstanding.

    ASUS TUF Gaming Z690-Intel Core i9-12900K- EVGA 360 CLC Cooler-Corsair Vengeance 4 x 16GB 3200mhz-2TB  Solidigm P41 Plus M.2 SSD--Three 1TB 970 EVO SSD's-EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 ULTRA-Corsair HX1000i-Windows 11 64bit-Corsair iCUE 5000X RGB Case.

I was looking at a Alienwear that has specs close to that. I was wondering though if they were still good to buy or if there was something better.
