I will be getting the following cards: 2x EVGA GTX 780 Ti SCEVGA 650 Ti Now I want to use the 650 Ti as a dedicated PhysX card, but I am not to sure which slot I need to put it into. Thanks for any input.

Any other full 16x slot. Slots should be silk screen marked if you look closely. Any slot that reads 16x/8x is what I would use, not one that reads 8x.

You'll be using slots 1 & 3 for your 780's (x16 lanes). I would use the last slot (slot 6) for your physX card. It's a x8 lane and your 780's will still run at x16. You'll also keep the extra space between all 3 cards this way.

With two GTX 780Ti SC cards you really don't need a dedicated PhysX card in my personal opinion.

It is also my opinion that 2x 780 TI Superclock's will be more than enough to blow thru any physX calculations ( hell, even just 1x 780 TI might be ) - the 650 will probably slow down the entire operation

I concur, Back when I was running a GTX690 and a GTX680SC as a dedicated PhysX card I notice no performance increase when I played games like Borderlands2 or Hawken. I sold those cards to do the SLI Titan setup thankfully. There aren't enough games I play that use PhysX and couldn't notice any performance gain

bdary is correct in which slot to use (the very bottom slot is the one to use since anything you use as a PhysX card will only run at x8 anyway). Then your 780 ti's will both run at x16 in slots 1 and 3, but it's up to you to decide if an extra card dedicated to PhysX will help. I saw a you tube vid of a guy who used a GTX580 with his 2 780's and he got much higher frame rates in games that use PhysX with his setup. Since I'm running 2 GTX780 classifieds in sli on my dark board, I put my old GTX580 in and it also made a big difference for me in Assassin's Creed 4 and Batman Arkham Origins (both use PhysX). So I guess opinions on this subject are like kittens and everyone is just giving them away, but really it's up to you to try it out and see if it helps or not.

That's probably because Hawken didn't use Physx until they added it recently. http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/hawken-physx. BTW, what a waste of $$$ on Titans, IMHO. I got two EVGA GTX780 Classifieds for about the same as the price as one Titan, and got 3 free games, with two extra copies each of AC4 B.F. and Batman: AO to give to friends.

Well, 2 of the main games that I play and will be playing is TitanFall and BF4. At the moment, I have to done down the graphics a bit to get some good gameplay since I only have the 1 gtx 670. Also want to "future proof" it as best as possible.

I'd keep that 670 for when you get your 780ti's and put the 670 in the very bottom slot to try it for PhysX. However, BF4 does not use PhysX (none of the BF series games use it), so you will see no benefit in that game. I'm also pretty sure Titanfall won't use PhysX either, as I've been playing the beta and there is no PhysX setting. You need to do internet search of all the games you want to play to see if they use PhysX, or just look for PhysX settings in the graphics menus of the games. That should let you know if you want to use a dedicated PhysX card or not.

Well, I am planning on selling both of my gtx 670's and using that money to get the 780 ti's. I think for now I will just get the 2 780 ti's. The games I will be playing for a while will not even need it. Thanks everyone.
